Senegalese Prime Minister Ousmane Sonko on Tuesday received Nicolas Dufourcq, Managing Director of the French Public Investment Bank (BPI), in Dakar.
According to a statement from the Senegalese Prime Minister’s Office, the meeting between Prime Minister Sonko and BPI’s Nicolas Dufourcq is part of ongoing efforts to bolster economic and financial ties between Senegal and France.
During their discussions, the two officials explored opportunities for bilateral cooperation, with a particular focus on investment, innovation, and support for businesses. The BPI, a significant entity in public financing in France, aims to contribute to Senegal’s economic development by facilitating access to crucial funding for promising projects.
This visit represents an important stride in consolidating the strategic partnership between the two nations, ultimately promoting sustainable and inclusive development in Senegal.
